Oversize SWEATER on really big needles
The fun thing about this sweater is the choice of yarn. You get the most exciting result if you mix a flamé wool such as Tentacao or Gipsy with a thick mohair such as Bella. And you can create an even wilder look if you add a glitter thread or a novelty yarn such as Coco Fancy Tweed. The possibilities are endless and you can mix many strands together, but the more strands, the heavier and denser your sweater becomes. Keep that in mind.
E.g. for size M we used 4 x Tentacao Tweed, plus 2.5 balls of Bella
With a drop-shoulder neckline, boat neck or regular round neck
Size: XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL)
All sizes are oversize, so just choose the size you normally wear.
Yarn: Tentacao or Gipsy with a thick mohair such as Bella, and optionally a glitter thread.
Yarn amount: approx. 250 (300) 350 (400) 500 (600) metres of each quality.
Gauge is not relevant on needles this big. There is no size between 15 mm and 20 mm, and from 20 mm the size jumps to 25 mm.
Needles: 15 mm and 20 mm, regardless of whether you knit tightly or loosely.
